Quickstart route

Setup sequence

CacaVPN Quick Start

Follow the main flow: set up an account, choose a plan, retrieve the subscription, import it into a client, and verify the connection. Handle only the items needed at each stage before moving on.

No email address required Unlimited devices 60-day money-back guarantee

Account

Create an account and open the user panel

Start on the account setup page by creating an easy-to-remember username and a unique password. CacaVPN does not require an email address; these credentials are used to access the user panel later. Submit the form when finished. The page should open the account area; if your browser does not switch automatically, use the “Log in” link at the top of the site and enter the credentials you just created.

The username identifies the account, while the password protects your plans, orders, and subscription details. Check for extra spaces at either end when entering them, and do not confuse the username with a display name. If a password manager generated the password, confirm that it has saved it before submitting. Because account setup does not rely on an email address, self-recovery options are more limited if you lose your credentials, so keep them secure.

After opening the panel, confirm that it displays areas such as Account Overview, plans, clients, and orders. It is normal for the account not to have an active subscription yet, so there is no need to look for routes or copy sample addresses at this stage. Choose a plan based on your actual data needs; subscription details become available in Account Overview after the order is active.

Start Free Only a username and password are required; no email address.

Plan

Choose a plan based on your usage and place an order

In the plans panel, first decide whether you need a monthly subscription for ongoing use or a data package that lasts until the allowance is used. Monthly subscriptions offer 60GB, 250GB, and 500GB per month at ¥9.9/month, ¥18/month, and ¥28/month; the allowance resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages offer 300GB, 1000GB, and 3000GB at ¥158, ¥358, and ¥658; once purchased, they remain valid until used and never expire.

If your everyday use is mainly browsing, communications, and occasional AI Tools access, start with a lower allowance and monitor consumption. If you regularly watch high-definition video, transfer large files, or use multiple devices over long periods, use the account’s traffic statistics to choose a more suitable tier. Devices are unlimited, but traffic from all devices counts toward the same account, so estimate total usage rather than focusing on just one device.

After choosing a plan, click “Start Using” or “Choose This Plan,” check the plan name, allowance, and price, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Return to Orders or Account Overview after payment and wait for the order status to update. Do not submit the same order repeatedly during payment; if the page does not refresh promptly, check the order list first before taking further action.

When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. If you are unsure which tier to choose, review the full plan details and billing rules first. CacaVPN offers a 60-day money-back guarantee; the applicable request process and scope are described in the Terms of Use.

Subscription

Copy the subscription link from Account Overview

After the order becomes active, open “Account Overview” in the user panel. Find the copy option in the subscription section and copy the link for the current account. A subscription link is not an ordinary webpage bookmark; it contains the information clients need to update route configurations. Use the copy button provided by the panel, and do not select only part of the link or add or remove characters yourself.

For format reference, this guide uses https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN as a fictional example. It only illustrates the structure and cannot be used to connect. The real address is available only in the user panel after login; this page does not display a static subscription address. After copying it, there is no need to open the link in a browser. Switch to a compatible client for the relevant platform and paste it into the subscription import field.

Treat the subscription link like account credentials. Do not publish it on public pages, in chat groups, or in screenshots, and do not submit it to untrusted online conversion tools. To use it on another device you own, log in to the same account and copy it again. CacaVPN supports unlimited devices, so there is no need to transfer the link through public channels.

If subscription details still do not appear in Account Overview, return to Orders and confirm the payment status and plan activation. If the order is active but the subscription section remains empty, visit the Help Center for account and subscription issues or submit a ticket through the user panel. Do not create repeated orders to try to fix a display issue.

Client import

Import the subscription into clients on each platform

The client reads the subscription, displays routes, and establishes the connection. Start in the client download section of the user panel and open the entry for your platform, then follow the panel instructions to obtain a compatible client supported by CacaVPN. Marketing pages do not provide direct installer links; installation and subscription delivery are handled in the panel after login. Once the client is installed, do not manually create a single-server profile. Look instead for subscription management or import from URL.

Windows Desktop

Windows: Add a URL through subscription management

Open a Windows client that supports subscription management, then go to “Configuration,” “Subscriptions,” or “Profiles” and choose import from URL. Paste the complete link copied from Account Overview into the address field, give the configuration a recognizable name, and choose Add or Update. Once the client reads it successfully, a list of regional routes will appear on the main screen.

If the list is empty after adding the subscription, first check that the pasted content is complete, then run a subscription update manually. Windows system proxy mode usually works well for browsers and apps that follow system settings. If a particular app does not use the connection, do not immediately reinstall the client; check the Help Center first to see whether its proxy mode needs adjustment.

macOS Desktop

macOS: Complete system authorization after import

Open the subscription or configuration manager in a compatible macOS client, choose Add Remote Configuration, and paste the subscription link. The first time you enable the connection, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or add a VPN configuration. Complete the authorization in the system prompt, return to the client, and enable the connection again. Skipping authorization can leave the routes imported while traffic still does not pass through the connection.

If System Settings shows an item awaiting approval, handle it first, then return to the client and refresh the subscription. Installation, permissions, import, and verification should be completed in order; repeatedly deleting the configuration usually cannot replace system authorization. For a fuller macOS permissions guide, see the relevant article or troubleshooting page on this site.

Android Mobile

Android: Paste the subscription in the configuration page

Open an Android client that supports remote subscriptions. On its configuration page, tap Add and choose URL, Remote Configuration, or Subscription rather than Manual Node. Paste the link, save it, and run an update. Wait until regional names appear in the list before choosing a route. The first connection triggers a system authorization prompt; confirm it so the client can establish the tunnel.

Some Android systems restrict background activity. During initial setup, first confirm that the connection works in the foreground. If it disconnects frequently after the screen locks, check the client’s running permissions under the system’s battery and background management settings. Menus vary considerably by device; detailed troubleshooting is covered on the troubleshooting page rather than listing every manufacturer’s settings here.

iOS Mobile

iOS: Create a configuration through the subscription entry

Open the iOS client guide from the user panel. After installing a client that supports subscription import, open its subscription, server, or configuration page. Choose Add via URL, paste the complete subscription link, save it, and refresh. The first connection displays a system confirmation to add a VPN configuration. Complete device verification, then return to the client and choose a route.

If the link cannot be pasted directly after copying, confirm that the client has clipboard access and actively choose Paste in the input field. Do not save the subscription address in a public note or shared document. Once the route list appears, move to the next stage; there is no need to edit protocol parameters or server fields individually.

Connection check

Choose a route and verify the connection

After the subscription update completes, choose a region that matches your intended use from the client’s route list, then enable the connection. For a service aimed at a specific region, prioritize a route in that region. For general cross-border access, start with a geographically closer route. Route names indicate the endpoint or route type, but they do not determine actual performance; judge the result on your current local network.

After enabling the connection, wait until the client status shows Connected, then open an international website that was not previously loaded. Do not rely only on the color of the switch: incomplete system permissions, an incompatible client mode, or a temporary local network issue can make the interface appear active while the target app still does not use the connection. Once the page opens normally, test the AI Tools, Streaming, or work services you actually need.

If nothing is accessible, disable the connection, switch to another route in the same region, and enable it again. If the browser works but a particular app does not, check whether that app follows the system proxy and whether the client is using system proxy mode or global takeover mode. If every route fails, switch local networks once and update the subscription to distinguish between a local network issue, subscription status, and an individual route problem.

Compare speed under the same network conditions and for the same task. During busy evening periods or network congestion, try another route in the same region instead of repeatedly deleting the subscription. If problems continue after switching routes, or you see symptoms such as DNS issues, background disconnections, or failed subscription updates, open the troubleshooting page and follow the symptom-based checks. It explains which states to inspect and what information to include in a support ticket.

Routine

Routine maintenance after setup

Once the basic connection is confirmed, routine use mainly involves checking remaining traffic, updating the subscription, and switching routes for different tasks. Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date, while data packages remain available until exhausted and never expire. If the route list has not changed for a long time, run an update in subscription management. When the account plan changes, update it manually so the client reloads the current configuration.

When moving to another device, repeat the sequence: log in to the user panel, copy the subscription, and import it into the client. There is no need to send local configuration files from the old device or copy the client’s cache directory. Getting the subscription directly from Account Overview helps avoid expired configurations, incomplete pastes, and mismatched manual parameters.

For simple issues, start with the FAQ and look under Account & Subscription, Connection & Troubleshooting, Speed & Routes, or Billing & Refunds. For a more systematic diagnosis of total connection failure, inaccessible pages, slow speeds, frequent disconnections, background dropouts, or failed subscription updates, open the troubleshooting page. This keeps the quick-start flow concise while providing the right check order for specific symptoms.
